Surface Connection checker
You must zoom or use "reframe on" option to visualize the small situations that have been detected.  
  
The selection will be rejected if you select two features referring to the same surface,  for example a surface and its offset at null distance.   
  
Local join
If there is any problem during the local join action, it is recommended to cancel the operation.
  
The local join action does not merge edges of a same face.
  
Recommendation
Before entering the Core Cavity Design Workbench, it is helpful to do a global healing of your repaired surface with an "objective value" of 0.01mm.

Infinite option is modal.  
Step value is modal.  
XY, YZ, or XZ plane definition is define as following : The cutting planes are parallel to either YZ, XZ or XY depending on which is perpendicular to the largest edge of the working box.

KNOWN PROBLEMS
Curve selection:
It may be difficult to select a curve on a dense tessellation or cloud. Use the "Zoom in" function or the Selection Navigator to make selection easier.

IGES format:
We recommend that you import files in IGES 106 format using the dedicated Import icon rather than the File/Open menu.

Planar sections:
It is not possible to input a join as a guide contour (in the Generative Shape Design sense).

Flip edge & Polygon smoothing:
Process only polygon without non manifold defects

Transformations:
The result of a cloud transformation is a feature entity. Activate/Remove/Filtering actions needs to be applied to the father entity.
To  by-pass this, you can use Create Datum mode for the transformation but the visibility icon is not displayed in the specification tree.

Align with constraints:
When planes are used, we recommend to check orientations.
  
When the constraint system is over constrained and when the system cannot compute the alignment, modify constraints in order to have:
one constraint Plane/Plane (to lock one translation and two rotations)
one constraint Plane/Line (to lock one translation and one rotation)
and one constraint Plane/Point (to lock one translation) .... all degrees of freedom are locked
  
This action is not available in Product Mode.

Powerfit:
Powerfit computes automatically points to take into account according to the boundary. But it is strongly recommended to use activate function in the case of undercut areas on cloud of points ( no need on polygon data )
  
To improve the surface result it must be efficient to use an initialization surface, especially in rounded areas.

Curvature analysis & Slope analysis:
If digitized data are noisy, curvature and slope analysis will be difficult to use.
