There are three main things that you can do to slow down a simulation.
1. Zoom In - zooming in closer to the simulation part will do a lot to slow down the speed of the simulation.
2. Change the Tool Mode - The icons for this can be found on the top row - far right.
- Wireframe Tool Mode. This is the fastest tool display mode. The tool is shown as a wireframe outline, and the display is updated at each new block of code.
- Solid Tool Mode. This is the medium speed tool display mode. The tool is shown as a solid tool, and the display is updated at each new block of code.
- Continuous Tool Mode. This is the slowest tool display mode. The tool is shown as a solid tool, and the display is updated continuously, showing the tool in motion from one block to the next.
3. Edit the tool - Before you start the simulation, go to Tool -> EditTool List, and change the Num Sides value to something greater than the default value of 16. I like to use 50.The higher the number, the slower the simulation. |
