Senior Mechanical Engineer-Ultrasonic (GECRD/357435/cc465)
  
Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer to lead research and  
  
develOPMent in the state-of-the-art portable ultrasonic machine for leadership
  
  industrial diagnostic systems. Responsibilities include product design and de
  
velopment, engineering analysis and validation, and reliability testing of new
  
  products. There will be an emphasis on the use of predictive engineering tool
  
s: solid modeling, finite element/difference modeling, design optimization and
  
  component testing as part of the Design for Six Sigma methodology. The ideal  
  
candidate will possess broad mechanical engineering skills and experience in m
  
echanical design and analysis combined with a hands-on approach to provide sol
  
utions to unstructured design problems.
·  Define and develop processes related to design, analysis, and test.  
·  Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems.
·  Ensure that work performed meets schedule goals using the NPI process  
·  Translate engineering concepts into workable solutions and coordinate desig
  
n activities towards achieving technical goals
·  Impart acquired knowledge and experience to accelerate training/development
  
  of less experience engineers
·  Maintain a proactive relationship with cross-functional org/personnel to cr
  
eate a boundaryless atmosphere between engineering and manufacturing
  
Qualifications/Requirements:
·  MS/PhD ME with minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical design, analysis
  
  and product development  
·  Demonstrated experience in design and building engineering prototypes and c
  
onducting design validation tests
·  Demonstrated leadership and problem solving skills  
·  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills  
·  Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional, product development tea
  
m environment
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Chinese and Englis
  
h
·   Ability to drive continuous improvement and implement change
Desired:
·  Working knowledge of design reliability testing and statistical techniques  
  
·  Experience in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) including probabilistic design me
  
thods
