Senior Product designer  
General  
This position will be responsible for creating and specifying the design of Manufacturing software applications. Duties include: generating requirements by analyzing customer workflows; documenting and maintaining specifications for existing applications; prioritizing and producing prioritized detailed functional specs for each application being developed; working with an extensive develOPMent team to define a release plan that accommodates allocated resources and maximizes ROI.  
  
Principal Duties and Responsibilities  
·  Work with marketing to analyze customer requirements and business needs to propose application solutions to be developed on Manufacturing software applications.  
·  Document and review requirements and design specific use cases to ensure customer requirements are satisfied.  
·  Develop and maintain detailed functional specifications for applications built on the product (Manufacturing software applications) API.  
·  Ensure consistency of the user interface, design, and implementation of applications built on the product (Manufacturing software applications)API  
·  Provide technical leadership and vision to deliver an ever-changing series of large-scale, complex applications.  
  
Requirements  
·  MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.  
·  Understanding of the Mechanical Design and Software Development Processes.  
·  Over 5 years of technical experience in mechanical design or developing mechanical design software.  
·  3-5 years experience working with CAD/CAM/CAE applications.  
·  1-2 years experience writing technical documentation, ideally software specifications.

·  Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with an ability to successfully work in a highly collaborative environment.  
·  Very comfortable with technical material and demonstrated ability to present and explain complex concepts to an audience that may be unfamiliar with the specific area.

Senior Developer:  
General Summary:  
The employee will work closely with the team developing Autodesk Architectural Desktop and Autodesk Building Systems based on AutoCAD. The successful candidate must have the ability to understand lots of details while maintaining an overall understanding of the goals and direction of the application.  
  
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:  
[$#8226] Design, prototype, implement, test and troubleshoot product features according to the market requirements and product specifications.  
[$#8226] Deliver results that meet market requirements and product specifications with a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.  
[$#8226] Investigates and, if necessary, prototypes technologies and algorithms relating to the task.  
[$#8226] Researches, analyzes existing legacy architecture and software code to understand the code at both the low-level and higher architectural level in order to make enhancements or resolve defects and performance issues.  
[$#8226] Write software designs and specifications for feature implementation.  
[$#8226] Track progress with respect to plan and informs manager of delays.  
[$#8226] Utilizes software estimation process in order to estimate development time and resources necessary for specific functions.  
  
Job Requirements:  
[$#8226] A Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Math, or Physics.  
[$#8226] Ability to solve problems and think creatively.  
[$#8226] Ability to work well in a team environment.  
[$#8226] Ability to learn quickly a large body of existing code.  
[$#8226] Ability to work on numerous concurrent tasks.  
[$#8226] Must have strong OOD design skills, including: STL, Design Patterns, advanced C++ knowledge.  
[$#8226] Experience with COM/ActiveX.  
[$#8226] Experience with ODBC, OLE DB/ADO, and/or ADO.NET.  
[$#8226] 2+ years of technical experience in software development environment  
[$#8226] Experience with Microsoft Visual C++ development environment.  
[$#8226] Working knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD application development (ADS, ARX, VBA, AutoLISP) and/or graphics experience preferred.  
[$#8226] Experience with AutoCAD and/or 3D modeling is a plus.
