Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer(7~15k/M)

Department: China Design Engineering Center, Corporate Engineering Team

Job Description and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for new product design and develOPMent, product modifications, prototyping, cost reductions, and product approvals.

- Ensure all mechanical drawings are correct, with detailed specifications, and tool development specifications.

- Actively plan, lead, and participate in continuous improvement projects with an emphasis on engineering methods, knowledge, and APQP systems.

-   Actively participate in 8D quality resolutions and in functional teams as part of APQP processes.

- Work closely with electrical and manufacturing engineering teammates internationally.

- Responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time.

- Provide technical support to product development team and vendors.

- Lead and provide support for product transitions to and from China.

Position Requirements:

- BSME degree or higher.

- Greater then 5 years of mechanical design experience within a product design center.

- Knowledge of plastic, sheet metal, die casting, and tooling, preferably automotive electronics in highly desirable.

- Knowledge in rectifier, regulator, and ignition modules is definitely an advantage.

- Working knowledge and analysis experience of OEM/ODM electronic products is a plus.

- Familiar with product development procedures and processes.

- Must be able to work independently and within a team environment.

- Good command of both oral and written English.

- Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, and outlook.

- Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD required.
