New users (from CimatronE 8.0 onwards) - IMS is no longer supplied with CimatronE, so new users who wish to use IMS as the default post processor will need to do the following:
Purchase IMS from an appropriate IMS agent.
Check the check box above to define IMS as your default post processor.
Manually add a variable to the registry.
This variable was created by CimatronE as part of the IMS installation, however it is no longer created from CimatronE 8.0. This variable contains the path to the IMS directory. In order to enable IMS, you need to add a key to the registry:
Existing users (who have upgraded to CimatronE 8.0) who do not have an existing IMS license and who wish to use IMS as the default post processor will need to do the following:
Purchase IMS from an appropriate IMS agent.
Check the check box above to define IMS as your default post processor.
