职位描述：
Job Requirements:
·5 - 8 years experience in consumer, bio-tech, automotive and/or telecomm products industries working for American, Japanese and/or European Clients
·Demonstrated familiarity and comfort working in 3D physical model building to support ideation
·Good hand sketching skills,
·Excellent ideation and brainstorming skills
·Deep experience using the following computer applications:
oMS Office Suite
oSolid Works and/or Pro/Engineer solids modelers
·Experience designing plastic/elastomeric injection molded and sheet metal parts for electronics enclosures.
·Experience with mechanism design, a variety of high volume manufacturing processes, (e.g. die casting, sand casting, metal machining, forging and stamping) is highly desirable.
·Experience designing for and liaising with rapid prototype vendors
·Experience taking parts and products through tool build, de-bug and early production
·Experience with sourcing manufacturing, parts and electronics components and assemblies is highly desirable
·Advanced CAD surfacing skills are very desirable
·Obvious capacity to inspire and lead small design teams
·Excellent spoken and written English and Mandarin

This Chinese native must be comfortable working with foreign clients and team-mates. He/she must demonstrate passion and talent for innovation. He/she must pay strong attention to detail and have excellent communications skills. He/she needs to be highly motivated and receptive to ideation and design processes that will likely push cultural envelopes. "Can do" inquisitive natures are a must. Some small design team management experience and direct client liaison experience is a big plus. It would also be wonderful if this member had good IT, computer network and CAD installation skills. Ultimately, this member will be a manager of the engineering staff. He/she will participate closely in ongoing recruiting, interviewing, managing and mentoring of mechanical engineering staff as Speck Design grows.
