安装之前需要什么软硬件环境，需要单独安装什么数据库环境：sqlserver还是oracle?

到smarteamV5R12以后版本已经不需要任何数据库环境了，因为它内嵌了MSDE，这是一种简化了的sqlserver。
smarteam v5r12 editor的软件安装需求如下：

[$#1048713] SMARTEAM – Editor includes Microsoft Word and Excel Integrations. Both integrations support Microsoft Word and Excel in versions 2000 SP2 and 2002.  
[$#1048713] For sending email messages from SMARTEAM – Editor, Microsoft Outlook 2000 and 2002 are supported.  
* Windows NT 4.0 should include IE 5.0 or above
