be careful. in the intralink you can rename the objects and the system will keep all the relationship to each other. that is right. but
But, sometimes the system still has some bug. it will forget something, such as the object name, then ghost part come up. we have met such problem man times during the last two years.
the reason is the system only change the object name, but still keep the physical file name as the original in the workspace. and in the filesever, it is stored only as a serial number plus a model type extention name.

个人观点：全参数有好的一面，也有不好的一面，看你做什么。如像搞模具，经常都需要大改，用PROE就会很头痛，那些参数简直会死人!用UG就会好很多，不用去像那些参数，可以节省时间来想结构!!!而且PROE的精度太高，用来搞模具实在累，用不着那么高的精度。有时精度高了不是好事!!所以，我搞产品用PROE，搞模具用UG。

本人多嘴，
intralink乃PTC公司的一个PDM 系统，主要应用于设计和生产部门。作为数据库管理软件，它可以同PROE整合使用，可直接管理PROE文档。
