职位设置目的Job Purpose：
Fast growing nLighten Technologies, a video projection display engine company, requires a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join its develOPMent team. Projects range from design of simple and complex mechanical parts  to management of part suppliers and tool makers. Duties include product specification, plastic and metal part design using SOLIDWORKS 2005, interface with suppliers and tool makers and testing of designed parts in a complex electromechanical assembly - all in a cross-functional startup environment that rewards innovation while maintaining strong quality standards.
This key position will work with industry expert optical, mechanical, electronic, and software teams to build a leading edge company supplying projection solutions to the fast-growing video display market.  
  
主要职责范围Responsibilities:
?Manage the process of designed mechanical parts into production, including management of prototype vendors and high volume manufacturing partners.
?Drive manufacturing partners to meet the cost, schedule and quality constraints inherent in developing a consumer electronics product.  
?Design, and document high volume mechanical components of complex consumer products.
?Work with quality control procedures including ISO 9000.
?Build 3-D solid models using Solidworks 2005.
?Interface with design teams from the US, China and Taiwan, using both English and Mandarin
  
专业知识、资历与技能Requirements：
Knowledge/Experience/ Skill/Competence Required
The ideal candidate would have a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and 10 or more years experience in the following areas:
机械工程硕士或10以上行业经验
?3 years hands-on experience managing the process of bringing new products into production, including interface with prototype vendors and high volume manufacturing partners.
?Experience in managing the cost and schedule constraints inherent in developing a consumer electronics product.  
?Expert level experience in designing, documenting, and manufacturing high volume mechanical components of complex consumer products
?Working experience with quality control procedures including ISO 9000.
?3-D solid modeling experience in Solidworks.
?Fluent in English and Mandarin
