1) Try your best to use uniform wall thickness for the whole part.Thicked part will shrink more then thinner part.
2) ensure uniform cooling on core and cavity side, double check the mould temperature of core & cavity during cooling stage
3) Check on the Moldflow filling analysis, make sure the part had "uni -directional " filling. Meaning the resin polymer flow pattern is not cross linked and the orientation is in same direction.
Conclusion :
warpage is mainly due to residual stress inside plastic part (molded in stress) and this is affected by :
1) Flow induced stress (ensure good filling, uni direction, reduce stress concentrate area such as sharp angle)
2) Thermal induced stress ( ensure unniform cooling across section)
If the problem cannot be solved , :
1) Use cooling jig to fixed the shape of part after being injected out
2) Use annealing method , let the part cool slowly ....annealing make plastic relax |
