大会主题报告:《INTELLIGENT INJECTION MOLDING CONTROLSYSTEM WITH MULTIVARIATE STATISTICAL QUALITY MONITORING》
ABSTRACT
Control system is the brain of injection molding machine, the control performance determines the quality of the molding process. To ensure a good part quality, it is crucial to design an accurate, robust and intelligent control system. An advanced control system has been developed by the Center for Polymer Processing and Systems (CPPS) at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). It can be applied directly to the existing injection molding machines with minimal machine modification. This paper illustrates the industrial test results of this control system on different injection molding machines. The repeatability and accuracy of the controller has been demonstrated. Process monitoring and fault diagnose is another important feature of the control system. Using advanced stage-based principal component analysis algorithm, the controller can provide reliable monitoring of the injection molding process.

香港科技大学 高福荣 教授
高福荣教授现任香港科技大学化工系教授,同时他也是浙江大学控制系“国家千人计划"教授。在香港科大, 高教授是高分子成型过程及系统中心主任,先进制造与自动化研究所所长,工业自动化国家工程研究中心华南分中心主任,霍英东研究院副院长。高教授分别于1985 年从华东石油学院自动化系及1995 年从加拿大麦吉尔(McGill)大学化工系获得学士及博士学位。在1995 年加入香港科大前,高教授任职于澳大利亚Moldflow 公司为高级研究工程师。高教授一直致力于高分子加工及批次过程监测与控制的研究, 已发表国际期刊论文150 多篇,多次获得国际期刊及会议最佳论文奖。同时他也是塑胶工程协会(SPE) 会士。
