Flexible dry film that flows when heat or solvent activated to form a strong, permanent bond for nameplates and other applications. 100% solids formulation of synthetic elastomer, thermoplastic, and thermosetting resins. 2 mil thickness.

3M[$#8482] Bonding Film 588 is composed of a higher ratio of thermosetting resins than 3M[$#8482] Bonding Film 583 for high internal strength and structural type bonds.

Three layer electronics grade bonding film consists of a 2 mil polyester film core coated both sides with 2 mils of a polyester based thermoplastic adhesive. Provides dielectric insulating layer. Good adhesion to a variety of substates.
