General Summary:  
The employee will work closely with the team developing Autodesk Architectural Desktop and Autodesk Building Systems based on AutoCAD. The successful candidate must have the ability to understand lots of details while maintaining an overall understanding of the goals and direction of the application.  
  
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:  
[$#8226] Design, prototype, implement, test and troubleshoot product features according to the market requirements and product specifications.  
[$#8226] Deliver results that meet market requirements and product specifications with a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.  
[$#8226] Investigates and, if necessary, prototypes technologies and algorithms relating to the task.  
[$#8226] Researches, analyzes existing legacy architecture and software code to understand the code at both the low-level and higher architectural level in order to make enhancements or resolve defects and performance issues.  
[$#8226] Write software designs and specifications for feature implementation.  
[$#8226] Track progress with respect to plan and informs manager of delays.  
[$#8226] Utilizes software estimation process in order to estimate develOPMent time and resources necessary for specific functions.  
  
Job Requirements:  
[$#8226] A Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Math, or Physics.  
[$#8226] Ability to solve problems and think creatively.  
[$#8226] Ability to work well in a team environment.  
[$#8226] Ability to learn quickly a large body of existing code.  
[$#8226] Ability to work on numerous concurrent tasks.  
[$#8226] Must have strong OOD design skills, including: STL, Design Patterns, advanced C++ knowledge.  
[$#8226] Experience with COM/ActiveX.  
[$#8226] Experience with ODBC, OLE DB/ADO, and/or ADO.NET.  
[$#8226] 2+ years of technical experience in software development environment  
[$#8226] Experience with Microsoft Visual C++ development environment.  
[$#8226] Working knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD application development (ADS, ARX, VBA, AutoLISP) and/or graphics experience preferred.  
[$#8226] Experience with AutoCAD and/or 3D modeling is a plus.

[$#8226] Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) with an ability to work in a highly collaborative, multi-country/time zone environment.  
[$#8226] Good organizational skills with the ability to track and prioritize numerous tasks.
