After Installing the NX3, I want to install NASTRAN, everything is ok. But following CAST, I analyse the Solid Part. and select NASTRAN as solver, it doesn't work. If I select Structure P. E, it works. I think the problem is thta Nastran is not installed suitable. Please tell me hoe to set up when I install the Nastran.
It's seasonable. PE solver is locaded inside UGII_BASE_DIR.
you need to check syslog file to see what's happening.
read installation manuals carefully and i am sure there is information called "post installation" to tell you how to link them together. roughly saying, there is an env in UG to point where is NASTRAN. Installing NASTRAN first may help, or use default path to install both.
