明年初即將發行之 V9.1 版新功能
1 、新的 VOF 功能:針對現有的 sharp interface tracking 功能提出更好的計算,此方法稱Split Lagrangian method 。
2 、強化 GMO 功能:加入 熱傳導效應 與 可移動的物體質量( Moving Mass source )物體性質。
3 、 Two-fluid interface slip :應用於兩種流體密度相差很大的時候(例如 10:1 ), 此新增功能增加混雜流體與空氣的兩相流之計算穩定性及精度。
4 、 Air entrainment Model( 空氣捲夾模型 ) :未來除了紊流也可應用於層流 (Laminar flow) , 並增加了 bulking model 。
5 、 The electric field model( 電場模型 ) :加了 the Leaky Dielectric model 能模擬帶電物質屬性的不同,造成流體與空氣或者是流體與固體之間的電荷分離現象。
6 、新版功能的穩性解計算速度與效率大幅提昇 3 倍,讓用戶可更快速取得分析結果。
FLOW-3D Version 9.1 to Support 64-bit Windows
In the first quarter of 2006, Flow Science will be releasing FLOW-3D Version 9.1 In addition to our continued support of 32-bit Windows (XP and 2000), Version 9.1 will support 64-bit Windows x86-64 and Windows for IA64.
With 64-bit support on Windows, users will be able to build large simulations exceeding the traditional limits of 32-bit memory. With 64-bit Windows, users' simulations will be limited only by the amount of installed memory on their computers. For example, with Windows 64-bit running on 4 GB of installed memory, a user could run a simulation with up to 10 million cells (depending on the number of physical models activated).
On Windows IA64, users will have natively compiled 64-bit GUI which will allow efficient building and post-processing of large simulations
