Position: 3D Surface Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
(1) Design new products for various power tools and household ware from customers’ industrial design models/sketches, using 3D surfaces/solids in Catia 5 version12.
(2) Arrange for models of the new surfaces to be machined
(3) Liaise with mechanical design engineers as needed and work within project schedules
Candidate profile:
(1) Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Design Engineering
(2) A minimum of 3 years’ product design experience in 3D surfacing with Pro Engineer or Catia.
(3) Experience in design of experiments a must
(4) Highly proficient skill in using CAD for design and drafting, Pro-Engineer/Catia 4/5 in advanced surfacing a definite advantage
(5) Well equipped in technical analyses and problem solving
(6) Fluent spoken/written Chinese and spoken Cantonese mandatory with English skill sufficient to communicate as an advantage
