薄板型腔高压充型行为的水流与计算机模拟
摘要:应用Flow3D软件对高压水流快速充型的过程进行了计算机模拟,并在相同条件下采用1000-2000帧/s照片的高速摄影方法,对着色高速水流在透明的丙烯酸玻璃为材料制成的模具薄板型腔中的充型过程进行了拍摄,二者结果一致。显示了计算机模拟方法研究流体高压充型行为的可行性。应用同样的计算机模拟方法探讨了几种情况下的浇口、溢流槽、型腔形状与位置对其充型行为的影响。其结果对高压铸造铝、镁合金工艺参数设计具有重要参考意义。
Experiments and computer simulation for thin plate mould filling in high pressure with flowing water
Abstract:Through applying the program flow3D,the simulation for the process of mould filling has been made with flowing water at high pressure and speed.The filling process of colored flowing water were filmed in the thin plate shipped die,which was made from acrylic glass,with a high speed camera taking between 1000-2000 pictures per second on the same condition.The results show good coincident,andproved that computer simulation is feasible to study the mould-filling behavior at high pressure.The influence of the geometry and position of gate,overflows,die cavity on the mould filling process was discussed on the different conditions by the means of simulation.The results haveimportant significance to the process parameters,design of aluminum and magnesium in the high-pressure die-casting.
铝、镁合金压铸件最小壁厚现已分别能够达到2.5-3.5mm和1.0-2.0mm的技术水平,因此用这些合金制造一些薄壁件如车门和其它壳类零件已成为未来汽车工业发展的重要产品[1].由于压铸设备昂贵,工艺复杂,加之模具不透明,无法直接观察金属的充型过程,因此水流和计算机模拟对其工艺参数设计具有重要指导意义。
目前对薄板压力充型过程的研究还不多,不当的工艺参数将会导致卷入气体等铸造缺陷在工件的重要部位形成,造成整个零件使用性能的严重恶化。本工作旨在用着色高速水流在透明的丙烯酸玻璃为材料制成的模具薄板型腔中的充型过程的拍摄结果来验证计算机模拟的正确性,进而再由计算机模拟结果来探索水流薄板充型过程工艺参数的影响,这将对探讨高压铸造铝、镁合金薄板型腔充型过程工艺参数的选择具有重要参考意义。
