· Run NX CAM software for the purpose of analyzing differences between
run-time behavior and required behavior and reporting on results.
· Create test plans for analyzing whether a new software feature satis
factorily meets agreed upon requirements and functional specification.
· Provide timely feedback to software developers about problems found
in new features being developed and provide recommendations on the relative pr
iority of problems found.
· Run NX CAM software tests both interactively and in automated batch
mode and analyze the results of each to determine when failures are happening.
· Create new tests to be used in automated testing to cover new softwa
re functionality being created.
· Provide regression testing of software bug fixes to determine that e
xisting behavior has not been broken by new code.
· Analyze existing bugs to determine if problems as reported still exi
st.
· Interact with customers, as necessary, in order to understand how th
ey make use of NX CAM and provide feedback on how existing software may meet t
hose needs.
· Provide recommendations during the definition of requirements and fu
nctional specifications of new features to better meet the needs of existing a
nd potential customers.
· Become familiar with related products sold by the same company (such
as TeamCenter Manufacturing) for the purpose of verifying how well NX CAM wor
ks in combination with them.
Requirements:
· Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
· Experience running CAD/CAM software, preferably in a commercial envi
ronment.
· Good written and verbal English skills
· Ability to work with minimal direct oversight
· Experience with NX CAM is desired.
· Familiarity with NC Machining processes is desired.
