SolidWorks Rx When you encounter a problem in the software, please use SolidWorks Rx to describe and package the issue or question.
1) Use SolidWorks Rx to capture and describe the problem. SolidWorks Rx collects system and SolidWorks configuration information, a description of the problem, a video recording of the session, allows you to attach the SolidWorks files used during the session and then packages the files into a zip archive which can then be submitted via the problem report form. To start SolidWorks Rx, go to Start > All Programs > SolidWorks 2008 > SolidWorks Tools > SolidWorksRx.
2) Review the diagnostics and correct any issues indicated by the utility. Continue to Step 2 - Problem Capture and complete the steps indicated. Include the SolidWorks files if applicable to your issue.
3) When finished, SolidWorks Rx will package all the files in a zip archive. Upload this zip file in step 7 of the Problem Report form listed below.
Problem Report This page is used to create an issue tracking #. The SolidWorks Rx zip package can also be uploaded to give the technical support engineer a complete set of information concerning your problem.
