I’m pleased to announce the availability of Autodesk Moldflow Insight 2010 Release 2, Service Pack 1. The service pack is available through Auto-Update for customers that start Autodesk Moldflow Insight 2010 Release 2 and on Subscription Center.
Customers on active subscription can download Autodesk Moldflow Insight 2010 Release 2 Service pack 1 from Autodesk Subscription Center (www.subscription.autodesk.com). Once logged in, click on ‘Product Downloads’ on the left hand side of the screen. Then follow the links to the available Moldflow 2010 Release 2 Service Pack 1 products. The Autdesk Moldflow 2010 Release 2 Service Pack 1 requires Autodesk Moldflow 2010 Release 2 products to be installed as a base.
The major enhancements for the service pack are:
• Speed improvement and memory reduction for 3D Fill +Pack solver. The performance improvements are available for both single threaded and parallel analysis.
• Improved exit behavior in case a 3D Fill + Pack analysis has insufficient memory available.
• Resolved a problem in the temperature calculation for cases where there polymer flowed from
tetrahedral elements into beam elements.
• A solver and screen output fix for 3D gas assisted injection molding.
• Resolved an issue in Dual Domain meshing where properties assigned to the CAD model were not transferred to the Dual Domain mesh.
• Improvements in behavior for the Customer Error Reporting (CER) and the Customer Involvement Program (CIP).
