【求助】about pro/e shade color

  why  can't i  modify the color of the shade part in pro/e 2001400 version,help?thanks!

why aren't you try to modify: view>model setup>colors and apperances?

i think u don't what i mean, i try the step u refered already,but it doesn't work;and pop-up a message"allowed numder of colors exceeded"; i also do some modification in the relative setup in config.pro,still not work?

There is a option in "config.pro" to define the number of colors
in the "color.map" file.
  
oh i find it, the option is "number_user_colors" .
you may set it to 120 or above.

bamboo,thanks;but it still doesn't work. My pro/e is 20014000(not D version),i set the item"number_user_color" to 255,"color_ramp_size" to 255;and also the"pro_colormap_path" to " /proe2001/text/hull data/hull_color_file.map"(for i could not find the file"color.map"as u refered).the popup window still on(my lisence is from foreign country).
