Afternoon, Banzhu
For OS problem, I can write my issues in English only.
Thanks your reply, but I still can not convert the old V4 file into the V5.
Appreciate you can check my steps as below: (point out where is the problem.)
1. Open the CATIA V5R7 software;
2. “File->open…” Select directory and open the file: M1846.model (the file version is CATIA V4)
3. At the current status, I can view the model, (rotate, move the model as the different view), but I can not do any revise, operation…etc.
For the step1 to step3, I try it last week, then base your advise, I continue…
4. Select the parts, “Edit->Copy”
5. “File->new” and select the “part”, “Edit->paste”
Then the system pop out a warming notes: Migration as Result of the Mock-up Solid *Sol1:- Creation of the CGR file in the directory where is the model is stored.”
6. Then, I can find a new file named “M1846_SOL1.cgr” is the same directory.
7. Try to open the file, the system pop out a warming dialogue “Invalid format for open. Use Insert ->Existing Component. Click “OK” to close the dialogue.
8. Click “Insert”, can’t find the item as “Existing Component”
9. Click “file->new”, select “product” click “insert”, now I can find the item as the “Existing Component”, click it, and the system has no any response.
10. Double click “applications”(at the up left corner), system pop out the file selection dialogue. Select “M1846_SOL1.cgr” file. Now, the part seems import in.
But I believe the part just be thought as a component in a assembly product, I still can’t do any revise, can not output the part into a “.igs” file. More advantage than before, I can do add some new parts in the product. I do hope you can understand my mean. Thanks a lot. |
